European Higher Education Fair - Indonesia 2013

 
The Italian Embassy in Jakarta, the Italian Institute of Culture Jakarta and Uni-Italia are pleased to announce their participation to the European Higher Education Fair (EHEF) - Indonesia 2013 that will be held in Surabaya on 9th October and in Jakarta on 12th and 13th October.
The event is an initiative of the EHEF Consortium composed of 5 European agencies: British Council, Campus France, DAAD, Nuffic Neso Indonesia and Uni-Italia with the support of the Delegation of the European Union to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam.
Following the previous success, there have been more than 10,000 visitors at the fair last year, the EHEF Indonesia has proved to be one of prospective fair destination in Asia. Thus, there is a growing interest among the Indonesian student population to study in Europeas an alternative destination to pursue excellent quality of higher education.
Since Italy is the vanguard in every field of higher education and in particular in the fields of Design, Architecture, Applied Sciences and Arts, it has become a popular chance for Indonesian students who want to study overseas.
The participation of Uni-Italia to the Consortium and the Fair has the aim to raise awareness and appeal of the Italian Higher Education as an excellence in learning as well as to provide first-hand information on study requirements and benefits and living conditions in Italy.
Besides providing informative materials and answering questions directly at Uni-Italia Booth, Ilaria Gallo, the Head of Uni-Italia Centre in Indonesia, will hold a seminar "Study in Italy – more than a chance!" on 12th October at 3.00 pm and on 13th October at 1.30 pm. 
Furthermore, the Italian Embassy in Jakarta, the Italian Institute of Culture in Jakarta and Uni-Italia are organizing the “Italian Day” that will be held at the Italian Institute of Culture on 11th October 2013.  
The aim of the event is to foster the growing interest towards Italian language and culture through activities such as free classes to learn Italian language, a talk show with Indonesian alumni who studied in Italy to share their experiences, a cooking competition, a film session. The event is also an important occasion to meet the most important Italian companies that will be present.
